Installation

1. Unbox. Make sure you have the parts listed above, including two bolts, two clips, and two nuts.

2. Screw the lever arm onto the lever.

3. Attach the lever to the main body using the butterfly nut. Add a clip before screwing the bolt tightly.

4. Pull the pushing plate all the way back. Align the top holes of the lever with the holes of the pushing plate base. Slide the butterfly nut in, add the clip, and tighten with the bolt.

Step 1: Place the cutter on a flat, clean work surface (A). Push down on the suction cup (B) so that it sticks. There should be no movement while in use.

Step 2: Pull the lever until the compartment is fully opened. Put the potato (or other vegetable like carrots, onions or sweet potatoes) in it (1). We recommend cutting the edge off the potato for easy cutting (2).

Step 3: Push the lever forward to cut the potato.

  • Clean your cutter before and after each use. Clean with hot, soapy water, then rinse with clean water, and dry thoroughly.
  • Keep your fingers away from the cutting plate. NEVER grab the cutter from the cutting plate side.
  • Use extreme care when handling the cutting plate and blades. The blades are extremely sharp. We recommend wearing cut-resistant gloves when handling the cutting plates.

To Clean the Pushing Plate and Cutting Plate

Step 1: Use a long bristle brush to remove debris and clean the cutting plate. DO NOT use your fingers.

Step 2: To clean the pushing plate, remove debris with a blunt object such as a butter knife, then thoroughly clean with a long bristle brush. You may need to disassemble the pushing plate and cutting plate to fully clean them.

To Disassemble the Pushing Plate

Step 1: Pull the lever to all the way back to make the compartment fully open. KEEP FINGERS CLEAR OF CUTTING BLADES AT ALL TIMES.

Step 2: Rotate the metal clip counter clockwise to release the pushing plate.

To Disassemble the Cutting Plate

  • NEVER hold the cutting plate with your hands in line with the blades. We recommend wearing cut-resistant gloves when handling the cutting plate.

Step 1: Unscrew the 4 butterfly nuts.

Step 2: Pull the cutting plate off.

Suction Cup Does Not Work

Probable Cause: Work Surface is Not Smooth Enough

Solution: Put the cutter on marble, ceramic tile, or other smooth work surface.

Not Cutting Smoothly

Probable Cause: Work Surface is Too High (Can’t Use Enough Force)

Solution: Move to a lower work surface.

Probable Cause: Potato is Too Big

Solution: Cut the potato in smaller sections before inserting in cutter.
